Born on January 4, 1962 Peter is the band's bassist, singer (he's got an ungodly deep voice), and decomposer. He's 6' 6", wears size 15 boots and has teeth that would make a vampire jealous. (Only one of them is real because the other got knocked out while he got into a fight with someone who thought that Peter had hit the back of his car.) Anyways, you might be frightened of Peter at first, because of his size, but he really is a wonderful person, with a very dry sense of humor. He's very happy because some day he knows he will die.
Peter is not like other "rockers". He stays in shape (lifting weights 6 out of 7 days a week. He even takes them on the road with him and once fell through the bus doing bench presses he can bench 315, I hear), he doesn't smoke, takes his vitamins, and he even regrets his tattoos. It's like he's following other rockers because he's got tattoos, and he doesn't want to be like everyone else. He might get drunk once in a while on stage, but it won't be from beer. Beer makes him burp, so that's why he sticks to red wine on stage. What's his favorite brand of wine? "Anything for free."
Like I said, Peter has a great sense of humor and he seems like a great guy. I would like to meet him one day (STILL HAVENT). He (and the other band members) seem so darn interesting.
Oh yeah... his girlfriend is a very nice lady. I wish them both the best of luck!!
Kenny is, well, pretty funny and also clueless (also seen in After Dark). He plays the guitar very aggressively, but you can also catch him playing a nice, cute little tune in the song "To Love God".
Hmmm... Kenny loves beer and has it for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Kenny should sing a bit more cause he's got a pretty nice voice. (god this bio thing is old.. he does sing a lot more on WCD)
Gee, I don't have much to say because this page had gotten very screwed up because I added something last night and today I had to erase the whole damn thing and start over again. The first one was better. I'll add more on Kenny when I remember what I wrote about him before.
I've met Kenny... he looked really tired... and I dont blame him.
Josh Silver was born on November 14 1962. He plays the keyboards, produces the Type O albums, and also has a great sense of humor like Peter. The sounds that come out of Josh's keyboards are amazing. Without the keyboards, Type O wouldn't have their unique sound. How does Josh get those sounds? Well, he hits a few buttons and whatever comes out Peter asks "Think you can do better?" Than that's about it.
Josh likes to have pot for breakfast lunch and dinner. He has a million tattoos, and an eyebrow ring that you can hardly ever see because of his big, poufy hair. This guy has some big hair, and I would like to know how he can comb it.
In the After Dark video the interviewer asks "What is the message that Type O Negative is trying to get across?" Josh answers "Die." In another part, the interviewer asks "What is the most difficult problem you had to deal with for the duration of it's recording?" "I had to be there the whole time." answers Josh.
Josh is the man!!! he rocks. I've met him twice now... and I got a hug this last time from him. What a sweetie!! :)
Johnny Kelly born on March 9, 1968 is the youngest member in the band. He was Type O's drum tech when Sal was in the band, but when Sal left, they needed a drummer, so this is where Johny came in.
In After Dark, you will see Johnny talking about his hobbies, where he'd like to live, and "the message Type O Negative is trying to get across". (When he explains it, he has this whole little intellectual explaination of why he feels this way.)
Johnny has very nice hair, and seems like a wonderful person. He's married to Anita. (I heard that he rented a Porsche and drove to Las Vegas to get married.) Awww... =)
Johnny LOVES to talk. We gabbed about computers, games and other things for like 30-45 mins outside of the Troc... He is cool. I got a pic of me, him and my boyfriend but i never received the pic. :(
